Privacy Policy

Overview

GoldVeldspar (“we”, “the service”) provides read-only EVE Online market alerts via Telegram. This policy describes what we collect and why.

This is a placeholder policy for early access. It will be revised before paid tiers launch.

Data we collect

Telegram account identifiers (user id, username if visible, language preference) when you interact with the bot.

Email address if you link an account on the web (future feature).

Watch rules you create (item type, thresholds, hubs) and alert delivery history.

Technical logs: request timestamps, error traces, aggregate usage metrics. We do not read your private Telegram chats.

Market data

We fetch public EVE market data from CCP’s ESI and similar sources. We do not access your character, wallet, or assets unless you explicitly authorize a future feature.

Snapshot data is derived from public order books and may be retained for freshness checks and alert evaluation.

How we use data

To evaluate your alert rules and send Telegram notifications you requested.

To enforce tier limits, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data for in-game trading or RMT.

Telegram delivery

Alerts are sent through the Telegram Bot API to the account that created each watch. You can stop alerts by removing watches or blocking the bot.

Telegram’s own privacy policy applies to messages once delivered.

Retention

Active watches are kept until you delete them or your account is removed.

Market snapshots and alert logs are retained on a rolling basis (typically 30–90 days) for debugging and product improvement, then purged or aggregated.
